Stretch Break is an ergonomic software program that helps prevent Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSIs) by gently reminding you to take periodic breaks while using your computer. Every 30 minutes (default) it asks your permission to show the stretches. Full-motion animated figures show you how. After a minute or two of stretching you are returned to your current Windows application.

Stretch Break is simple to install and use. With one mouse click, you begin stretching with the on-screen figures. Select how long to wait between stretch sessions and how many stretches per session.  Determine which stretches appear, their order, and how many times each stretch appears.

Stretch Break was designed by a team of health care professionals who carefully reviewed each stretch in the program.  Stretches focus on parts of the body most likely to be harmed by RSIs including the neck, arms, hands, back, legs, and wrists. Also, includes eye exercises. This version, contains 42 stretches.  Several focus on stretching the muscles associated with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
